Usage Guide
* Note, standard soundcard drums don't usually sound that great - MIDI drums excel when sent to a good VST from your DAW.
* Unlike .wav loop/samples MIDI can easily change bpm without changing sound dynamic.
1. Select some beats or use the button "Random Beats" to randomise selection.
2. Hit the "Generate & Play" button and listen to 8 beats (A, AA, B etc) for 16 bars. You may need to get a midi player or select a different midi player.
3. Adjust bpm to suit your song.
4. Change Sequence to suit your song or use pre-programmed patterns & adjust.
5. When happy with song pattern, Hit "Save as SMF" button.
6. Import MIDI file into your sequencer program, I use either MULAB or cubase "File-Import-Midi File" or drag 'n drop.
7. This will import 5 MIDI tracks: Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Hi Hat, Cymbals, Toms.
8. Adjust vol/effects as required.
9. You can merge all into 1 MIDI track for neatness (email me/google search for details).
10. Add guitar, bass, vocal etc.
11.
PLEASE, LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GOT ON OR IF YOU'VE HAD ISSUES! I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO UPLOAD ANY COMPLETED SONGS DONE USING Djam. PLEASE SEND ME FEEDBACK/SONGS.
12. Use the "Publish" button if you'd like to save your song.
